Scott Krenitsky ~ Artist’s Biography

Born and raised in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Scott Krenitsky has studied art all of his life.  With main foundations in music and drawing/painting, he graduated from Tyler School of Art ,Temple University with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in glass in 2000.

Scott’s passion for glassblowing stems from the properties and qualities of this unique medium.  Transparency and light, optics, shape and form, and texture and color  all play vital roles in his glass designs.  His work incorporates these into beautiful, one of a kind pieces of art that are owned and exhibited worldwide.

Scott Krenitsky now lives in Reading, Pennsylvania where he continues to pursue his love for creating glass art.  Whether he is expressing his visions through functional vessels or exotic sculptural form his work captures the true magnificence of this super-cooled liquid.  It is now his lifework as an artist to portray his inspirations through the many techniques and methods of working with this intriguing material.  His future as a glass craftsman and artist is truly a venture worth sharing.
